  I arrived at the store by 3pm to complete the procedure, but was refused because the time was running out. Even though it wasn't written anywhere on the website, they insisted on coming to the store by 2pm, and they just handed me a piece of paper. It makes me wonder what kind of store they run. Not only was the system at a low level, but the customer service was also the worst. I intensely regretted taking the time off to go to the store.

  Even on Sunday, New Year's Eve, you could use the new banknote ATM. With Mizuho Bank's cash card, you can withdraw 1,000 yen and 10,000 yen bills, but with cards from other banks, you can only withdraw 10,000 yen bills. This was helpful because I needed new bills for my New Year's gift.

  On Saturday, I used an ATM exclusively for withdrawing new bills! We're open until midnight on Saturdays and Sundays, so it's great if you need new banknotes and can't go to the bank on weekdays.

  I used this ATM exclusively for new bills (pin bills)! If you pass through Shibuya's underground shopping mall, you can enter the store without getting wet even on rainy days. You will be directed to exit A3a, but head towards exit A3, look at the Village Vanguard in front of you, and go up the stairs on the right. You might want to go out from the ground level exit, but the entrance is on the left after going up the stairs. If you enter from here, you will see the dedicated ATM on the left.

  The only ATM that lets you select the amount you want to withdraw in ¥1000 increments and not 10,000.
