  Terrible service and rude staff. I went there to open an account because internet application was not successful and asked me to go to bank directly. By the time I told staff that history, she told me to use other banks and they are not able to open in there without even trying to see what is error in internet application process. She even looked at me with suspicious eyes and asked to show residence card and checked the due date. I saw some Japanese are doing in there. I speak Japanese not perfectly but ok to communicate. And I felt it is not because of language but because of nationality. I felt disappointment and discrimination for the first time in Japan. I was shocked why such kind of action is allowed in such a big bank organization.

  They told me all this bullcrap from the start… how i need this and that and I couldn’t make account but after I showed them my id.. they say i could but had to do it on my own through phone… last week i helped my friend who don’t speak Japanese make an account in tokyo.. and the treatment there and here is completely different… I’m disappointed

  This bank doesn’t help foreigners, 0% helpful.they try there best to chase them away . But they have branches in other countries , I wonder how the services are at those countries be .. strongly wouldn’t recommend this bank to foreigners living in japan . There are other foreigner friendly banks.. I hope the management realizes there mistakes and make changes immediately.

  The staff is not supportive for foreigners who do not speak Japanese. I even said, will manage with translator but they denied and asked me to check other options.
