::This time, I wanted to eat "Shiso with Shiso", which is only available on Sundays, so I ordered "Shiso Gyoza Set Meal". The perilla soup dumpling set meal includes 3 soup dumplings with perilla, 4 regular fried dumplings, gyoza soup (soy sauce or spicy), zha choy, and rice. Each gyoza is large, so it's very satisfying to eat. The boiled dumplings have chewy skin and are so juicy that the flavor of the soup overflows when you take a bite. This time's signature "Shiso" was filled with plenty of bean paste, and the refreshing flavor was pleasant and delicious no matter where I ate it. Mochiron's regular fried dumplings were also very flavorful, and the gyoza soup had a zingy spiciness that went well with the rice. I ate everything, but I still wanted to try grilled shiso!! So I ordered an additional item, grilled gyoza with shiso. The grilled dumplings are baked only after receiving your order, so they are piping hot when served. The skin has fragrant grill marks, and just looking at it whets the appetite. This is the "golden ratio" of gyoza, where crispy texture and chewy coexist. Along with the bursting flavor of the soup, the crispness of the perilla leaves is a nice accent. You'll be hooked on this so much that you'll be able to keep eating it! On the way home, I bought some frozen gyoza with shiso.

::I've been curious about it ever since I heard celebrities talking about it on YouTube. The basics are just gyoza rice, so there's no hesitation. I ordered a large gyoza set meal and a large serving of rice. There are 12 dumplings, so there is no shortage for the other party. After waiting for about 10 minutes, it arrived and was filled with more bean paste than I expected. It doesn't look greasy, and once you put it in your mouth, it's definitely delicious. However, perhaps my expectations were too high, and the gyoza wasn't that surprising. The filling is mostly cabbage, and I personally feel like there aren't enough chives and garlic. However, I don't have that heaviness in my stomach that makes me feel like I don't need dinner after a meal. It's definitely in the delicious category, and I also bought the pressed vegetables and frozen gyoza, but I feel a little strange about the high reviews from other people. The squeezed vegetables I took home and ate were also weak rather than kind. Consistently lacks flavor. Disposable chopsticks are round and a little thin and short, making them difficult to hold. It slips, so it takes a lot of force to grab it. Maybe it's a placebo, but it seems like there's a ``I have to say it's delicious'' bias that is unique to famous restaurants. Some people write that ``everything is normal,'' and that's exactly right.

::I had it at Micchan Gyoza store. Gyoza set meal (medium). The gyoza was piping hot, with a crispy skin, and the filling was tightly packed and juicy. However, it felt like vegetable dumplings, probably because there was a lot of cabbage, and it was light. Personally, I felt like it didn't have enough punch, but it's a gyoza that you can eat as many as you want.

::We recommend the half-grilled gyoza and half-boiled gyoza set meals, available only on weekdays. The gyoza are delicious and much larger than they look. If you don't eat it in one bite, the meat juices will make the tray sticky. After 12:00, the place is almost full. A large bowl of rice is free, but I think the average person would be satisfied with a regular size bowl of rice from a medium set meal. There's also a gyoza vending machine outside the store that's open 24 hours a day. This vending machine is also available at the Oizumi branch of Toyama Shinkin Bank.

::🎈 Micchan Gyoza [Shinko Gyoza Store in Toyama] I stopped by Micchan Gyoza, a gyoza restaurant that has become a hot topic in Toyama. There is a parking lot in a beautiful building that looks like a factory, and there is space for about 5 cars. When I entered the store, there were about 5 customers in front of me. The inside of the store is not very large, so it will be full if about 10 people enter. It was during peak lunch time, but it was busier than I expected. I ordered the gyoza set meal (medium). It came after about 10 minutes. Gyoza are hand-wrapped gyoza that are about 1.5 times the size of normal ones. It also comes with soup dumplings, so I was happy with the small size. The skin is thick, and when you eat it, you can see the fresh vegetables inside. Both the meat and cabbage are cut into large pieces, and the vegetables are fresh. It goes well with rice and is honestly delicious. I'm really happy about this, as I've only encountered small amounts of bean paste recently. The soup is consommé style. The boiled gyoza dumplings were the same as the grilled ones. Since they are made in the store's workshop, you can probably taste the freshness of the vegetables directly. I wanted to take some home with me on my way home, but I gave up because I was traveling for 12 hours from here. Thank you for the meal. ————————————————————— Micchan gyoza 📍 1-11-1 Nakata, Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture 931-8453 —————————————————————
