The most recommended thing here is ohagi. It's a delicious ohagi made in Kawaminami called Soei Foods. Tastes better when chilled. The red bean paste has an exquisite taste with a touch of salt that brings out the natural sweetness of the red beans. The rice inside is also well-done! My husband and I were hooked for a while. The first one I bought was at a store in Beppu City. I thought it was sold at any Marumiya store, but I found it at the Kiyotake store!
