::Fish and produce are always fresh, during the last Friday of the month they run a sale on meat produce.

::Convenient supermarket next to Beppu station (even thought not as well connected as it should inside). The prices go from reasonable to high for some products. I was disappointed not to find yellow peaches despite being in season... The supermarket is big and you can find a wide range of products. One thing that I noticed is that this supermarket runs out of fresh meals (like sushi) and onigiris very early, so definitively not the supermarket to wait for evening discounts.
