  Fish and produce are always fresh, during the last Friday of the month they run a sale on meat produce.

  Convenient supermarket next to Beppu station (even thought not as well connected as it should inside). The prices go from reasonable to high for some products. I was disappointed not to find yellow peaches despite being in season... The supermarket is big and you can find a wide range of products. One thing that I noticed is that this supermarket runs out of fresh meals (like sushi) and onigiris very early, so definitively not the supermarket to wait for evening discounts.

  Good place to buy daily foods. Price is affordable. It is little inside of the building and not noticable from outside. I have attached photo of entrance here might help random people looking for this place using Google map.

  No credit cards? Cash only? it's 21th century people ! Btw if credit cards are not acceptable u should put a sign at the front door

  Superb place for any tourist needs of Japanese groceries. Golden tip: 50% off sashimi after 2000h.
