真実は小説より奇なり・Truth is stranger than fiction.
::I went to a private dermatologist near Saiin Station, but they couldn't treat me there, so I wrote a letter of introduction. I just moved to Kyoto last year and I don't know anything about it, so I wondered where it would be introduced to me😱💦 When I looked at the address on the envelope, it said Kyoto City Hospital, so I immediately looked up the location and read the reviews. The reviews were extremely negative, with comments such as ``the receptionist's attitude is poor'', ``they are unfriendly and look down on me without any explanation'', and ``I shouldn't go'', so I was so anxious that I couldn't sleep the night before. . In fact, I went on R6.5.8 (Wednesday) with a lot of nerves and my heart was pounding. However, the receptionist was very kind and came to me while I was sitting to explain that I had made a mistake in filling out the medical history form.I thought I was going to stand up and start talking, but I was sitting down, but the receptionist kneeled down on the floor and explained to me. I thought what a polite person he was. The dermatologist is a very nice doctor, young and beautiful♡.。º* They gave me good explanations, listened to me, took the echo images, and gave me detailed explanations afterwards. I had to wait for 40 minutes even though I had to make a reservation, but it's a big hospital so it can't be helped. . . After the dermatology clinic, I had to take a blood test, so when I checked in there, it was also crowded and I had to wait for 20 to 30 minutes. But in the meantime, there was Dotour and Family Mart, so it was a good way to kill time. Also, the checkout was crowded, and the queues for cash and card payments were different, so I had to queue again (^◇^;) The reviews said that the prices were high, so I was nervous about that. at most. But since I had a letter of introduction, I had to pay 30% of the cost, which was about 3,000 yen. It was (。・ω・。) If there was no letter of introduction, it was written as 7,000 yen. I felt it was a good hospital because it was close by. I think it depends on how each person feels and the person being treated, but I was satisfied.

::I was hospitalised for 4 days. The doctor, the nurses and staffs are very polite and kind. The hospital food was really good. More importantly, I recovered from my illness. Overall it was really good experience.

::We went here during our Japan trip on a Sunday evening. Our 11 month old baby had diarrhoea and resulting sore skin. The reception had English instructions explaining the next steps. Waiting time was about 30 minutes including registration. The doctor spoke broken English, but his student was really good at it. Communication therefore was no problem. We got ointments and an electrolyte powder after treatment. Costs stood at ~9,000 Yen including an invoice in Japanese.
