::Clean, comfortable hospital that is well-staffed and located. Some things I want to specifically mention: 1. There's ample sitting areas for everybody. On the 3rd floor there are even long desks for those hoping to steal time to do work while waiting. 2. Facilities are kept squeaky clean, and the typical ominous hospital smell was strangely absent. 3. There is a staff member to assist with every step of the process. I was received by at least 4 different personnel, each attentive and proactive to attend to my queries. 4. Ambient temperature was comfortable. Waiting areas are well-lit—I could read a book without needing to find a light source. 5. Processes were systematic. There's a pager lent to each patient to notify them that their turn is coming, both for taking tests, getting checked, or making payment. 6. The phlebotomist who drew my blood was so gentle and skilled, even though I told her I hated needle. It was surprisingly painless. Although i still wanted to faint when i saw blood. 7. I was taken care of by one Dr. Yamaoka Hiroyuki, who was so genial and pleasant. Thank you for being kind. 8. Not sure if there was a play area for children. I didn't see it, but then again i didn't explore every nook and cranny either. 10/10 would recommend this hospital. This coming from a person who generally distrusts doctors and hates hospitals. LOL

::I was hospitalized with a thyroid tumor. Until then, I had been going to the hospital regularly for about 5 years. From the receptionist who puts the patient first, the nurses are all really kind, approachable, and kind, and of course the doctors are reliable, and it's a hospital that specializes in thyroid. Regular check-ups begin with a blood draw, which takes place one hour before the scheduled appointment time, and depending on your symptoms, an ultrasound may also be performed. After that, I will go for an interview. The procedure takes half a day, including blood sampling, ultrasound results, and an interview. Even if you make a reservation first thing in the morning, it is better to think that it will be canceled in the morning. The reason for the waiting time is that blood results are available on the same day, and the number of outpatients is extremely high, especially on Saturdays. However, in Western Japan, when it comes to thyroid, Kuma Hospital is so famous. The other day when I was waiting for an electrocardiogram, the waiting time was too long! There was an elderly female patient who was furious, and it was unsightly, but if you want to be seen at this hospital, it's normal to wait for about 3 to 4 hours. I think people who have been going to the hospital for many years understand that it takes half a day. I think the waiting time will be a little shorter if you go on weekday afternoons. A nice cafe has opened, so you can wait there. By the way, the hospital room is very clean and comfortable.

::It has nothing to do with the hospital... I think the parking lot guard is very nice. I pass by it every morning on my way to work, and I am truly impressed by the polite greetings of everyone from children to the elderly. Whether it's a cold day or a hot day...no matter how windy or rainy, they always greet you with a smile. I hope you continue to do your best. Sorry, this is completely unrelated.

::It seems to be one of the top hospitals in the Kansai region regarding thyroid glands. You can be seen for the first time without a referral. Reception is from 8:30 to 10:30. I arrived at the hospital around 8:40 and immediately checked in for my first appointment, but I was number 21. You will be given something like a mobile phone (navi call). There is no sound. When you receive a call, a message will be displayed. After reading the message, press the confirmation button. After checking in, you will be given a medical history form, and as you wait while filling it out in the waiting area on the designated floor, you will first be called to have your weight and height measured. After that, the call sign is given again, and when you enter a place like an examination room, a nurse will ask you questions about the contents of the medical history sheet and create a medical record on a computer. Afterwards, as you wait near the designated examination room, you will receive a message and enter the examination room. After you explain your physical condition to your doctor, he or she will decide what tests to check for any suspected illnesses. In my case, it was a blood test, urine test, and cervical ultrasound. The ultrasound exam was very crowded and I had to wait for about an hour. It took 4 hours to complete all the tests. After that, you will be re-examined by the doctor after reviewing the test results. I think it's good because you can get all the tests done at once, but you have to be prepared for it to take a long time. There was a cafe space inside the hospital.
