::The service is great and our room was perfect with terrasse bath. Our room was renew recently but i am not sure all room is as good. It is great with young children The diner was kaiseki and change menu if stay 2 night. Taste good and private room in the restaurant. (Depend on plan maybe) Service is perfect they try a lot to make you confortable and answer if possible. Bad point on my opinion, hotel is too big. And you could feel it partially at breakfast as it is a huge room. You eat on top of plastic table-close and if busy a lot of people. So as we was with kid she enjoy so i dont take as an issue but not the type of breakfast i like. As for the food it is good and have diversity. As well we didnt know but you can go to the main street from back of the hotel avoiding road with many car, there is great udon as well there.

::5 minutes walk to the 琴平 station. Though the room looks a little bit old,the quality of hot spring is very great! Love the hot spring. You can also borrow a free cane if you want to visit 金刀比羅宮.

::So, here we are Kotahara Onsen, in the Kagawa Prefecture! Oh my, a real Temple/Shrine destination! Other major attractions are usually 30-45 minutes drive! This place is a city, but feels like a village! The hotel, 3 star, we booked the Japanese Suite, with internal hot spring bath! That was truly magic, but rest of the hotel, oh well, manpower shortage & inflexibility showed, (until the duty manager arrived , speaking English and accommodated) so the Covid restrictions still show, amazing they still managed! Another decent experience here was the Japanese Restaurant, we had booked ( I guess by my mistake) half or semi board, so dinner was included! Full KaiSeki meal, which was actually quite decent! Ok not 5 star but for families real good, especially the sashimi fresh and the Shabu Shabu real good! Only issue, damn portions too big! Breakfast was a reflection of a Railway Station! 😂😂😂 Ballroom converted into a breakfast Center, packed with people of all walks, I guess primarily pilgrims, food was ok, but best scrambled eggs on any buffet I ever head, not the usual hotel bastardisation they call scrambled on buffets! The rest just ok lah!

::The Hotel was a little old, but it still was a great experience! The rooms were clean, the staff was nice and the onsen was really big. If you ever want to experience a Japanese onsen, this is the right place for you!

::Our All Japan Tours group stayed in the spring of 2015. A staff member gave our group directions how to navigate between the two buildings in this sprawling complex. The kaiseki dinner was very good. This high-rise hotel included a rooftop pool with recorded music for nighttime entertainment.
