::Kobushi is a Musashino udon restaurant located inside Tachikawa Station. I had been interested in it for a while, but I didn't have the chance to visit it for the first time. I received the udon noodles with gravy (820 yen). The dipping sauce contains pork belly, green onions, shiitake mushrooms, spinach, etc., and is packed with flavor. The noodles are chewy and thick. The irregularities give it a handmade feel and are very nice. It only takes about 5 minutes to serve, making it perfect for when you're in a hurry or for a quick lunch. The store staff also greets me in a loud voice and the atmosphere is nice!

::Visited in March 2024 A restaurant where you can eat Musashino udon inside the station. I visited around 8 a.m. on a weekday, and it was empty, so I was able to sit at a table and eat in peace. The morning limited menu costs less than one coin! There are two types of udon, and you can choose between hot and cold. Of course, you can order items other than the morning-only menu from the morning, so this is a recommended restaurant if you want to eat Musashino udon in Tachikawa.

::Uniquely thick udon made from a more dark/grainy flour (whole wheat?). It's a nice break from traditional udon. The tendon is also recommended. Certainly a good value for the price. Warning: This shop is inside the turnstiles, so you can't find it once you exit the station.

::Thick chewy noodles. Inside the gate, so you’ll have to buy a ticket?
