  Beautiful hospital overlooking the city. Staff are quite helpful. -1 star for all of the elderly patients using the hospital facilities like some kind of day spa. It slows access/treatment down for the rest of us. Access - Tedious to get to without a car; BUT - there are multiple buses that go to Kobe Kaisei from both the Rokkomichi area and the Hankyu Rokko area (Kobe city bus 26, etc.) Foreign/visiting patients - They have printout materials in English and billing is available in English at the digital register as well.

  This hospital is overall recommended for foreigners living in Kobe, but there are still some issues. Both times I’ve gone they’ve told me to go to a certain place for care, then I’ve gone to that room or desk and they’ve told me to go to another room which then told me to go to another room which then told me to go back to the first or second place I went to. So there are some annoying communication and organization issues. I was also told I couldn’t get a check up on my kidney stones at this hospital (weird, since it’s a common problem). So overall, the care you get here will be good quality and there are some doctors you can speak to in English. But be prepared to have some of your time wasted by poor communication and organization.

  I recommend this hospital for foreigners, they have English speaking doctors. I was treated very well.

  I had a very good experience here when I went for treatment after scratching my eye removing a dry contact lens. The doctors are very knowledgeable, particularly about eyes, and communicate well in English.

  Best place in Kobe-Osaka area for comprehensive medical services, especially for English speakers. Medical staff are well-trained and thorough, facilities are modern and impeccably maintained.
