  There is no toilet or bathroom in the room. There are common rooms on each floor and a large public bath in the basement. Coin laundry is available, and you must rent towels (for a fee) or bring your own. It was nice that there were few guests at the end of July, so there was no difficulty in using the room even if it was shared. Likewise, there is a shared refrigerator and shared electric kettle.

  We stayed here for 2 nights in August, and found the accommodation to be excellent value. Many of the options in furano don't cater to budget travelers. Our room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The Onsen was decently clean and when we visited to bathe, was always empty. The staff were super friendly and helpful. While they don't all speak much English, they will try to help where they can. The accommodation is also located around the corner from the bus stop (if you don't have a car) and is a short walk to the 7/11 convenience store and other restaurants. Good value for money - would definitely recommend to other travelers!
