::The meal in the atmospheric building was wonderful. There seemed to be a daily lunch special, but I arrived late so I was disappointed that it was sold out 💦 I ordered Okariba-yaki. The chicken and vegetables grilled with miso sauce had a sweet and salty flavor that went well with the rice.

::We arrived a little before lunch time and had to wait inside the restaurant. At 11 o'clock, I ordered the Ohariba-yaki set meal and within 10 minutes, the restaurant was full. We recommend arriving early. The Okariyayaki set meal consisted of fried vegetables and grilled chicken, topped with what appeared to be moromi miso. (I found out later that it was probably Bakke miso, a specialty of Akita. It has a very similar taste and appearance to Moromi miso. We had a very delicious lunch. The garden is beautiful and I highly recommend it.
