::Stumbled on this little gem by chance looking for a local restaurant. It is a family affair but welcoming and attentive despite the language barrier (phone translator helped). Very accommodating and food was fresh local fare. Authentic local (Kaiseki) and would highly recommend it.

::An unassuming restaurant in the back alley of Katamachi that serves authentic Kaiseki courses at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend a private room if available. We felt welcome and enjoyed every dish. The highlights were the grilled nodoguro (a local fish) and the kamojibuni (a local duck stew).

::Fantastic experience in a place we found just walking by and we were really happy it happened! Authentic cuisine, fresh ingredients , warm welcome by the owners, in my honest opinion it’s one of the best places we’ve tried so far in Japan, so for me it’s a place “must visit” in Kanazawa!
