::After checking in, I personally noticed that the interior of the building was designed to create a dim atmosphere, but I personally had a dark impression of it. As for the baths, the large communal bath was around 42 degrees, and the open-air bath and Hokutoriteshi hot water were around 40 degrees. To be honest, I was disappointed because it was too warm, but I warmed up in the large public bath, and cooled down and took alternate baths in the open-air bath and Hokutoriteshi hot water. When I tried it, it felt like I was soaking in a bath of insensibility, and I was so relaxed that I almost hit the bath. I was satisfied because the bath made me feel like I had soaked in a hot spring for the first time in a while.

::2024 3 7 I chose Kawanaga for my first bath this year. If you register as a LINE friend, your first bathing fee is half price.I visit from the Kawanaga Sanso of the former president (former Shizukuishi Town Mayor), so I've been coming here for about 27 years. Since the bathing fee went from 500 yen to 600 yen and then to 700 yen, I have stopped going there. The period of mourning for the former president has passed, and the museum is now closed every Tuesday and Wednesday. It only opens at 11 a.m.The hot springs I took a two-day break from bathing in.As someone who knows how hot the water is, when I pushed the door to the bathhouse, it was filled with steam. The bathhouse was extremely quiet. When I entered, the hottest part was cold under my feet. The ceiling beams were attached to the ceiling in a low place. I was able to take a bath by myself since it was after a 2 day break. Sweat after bathing It didn't come out. Maybe the temperature of the source has dropped. There were no koalas. On the night of October 2nd, we will restore the hot spring water supply equipment and wait for you to take a bath.

::It seems that the water is often hot due to the long source, but both the indoor bath and the outdoor bath were lukewarm (the other bath was said to be hotter). A simple alkaline hot spring with a source of 52.3℃, ¥700 for a day trip, and free lockers for ¥100 in the changing room. Relax in the open-air rock bath with easy-to-enter hot water.

::I stayed here in November 2023. This is a beautiful inn located along the national highway in front of the hot spring town. The bathhouse has one indoor bath and one open-air bath, and the simple alkaline spring water flows directly from the source, giving it a strong hot spring scent. For dinner, the quality and quantity of Shizukuishi beef steak, fried tiger puffer fish, and grilled abalone on a ceramic platter are perfect. The interior was beautiful, the quality of the hot springs was good, the atmosphere was relaxing, and it was a reasonably priced and very good inn.

::This was my first time using it on a family trip. 【facility】 Despite being a fairly old inn, every corner of the building was shiny and well-maintained. The decorations in the rooms and lobby are wonderful, and you can feel the warmth of nature. [Room] Our family of four stayed in a 10 tatami room in the new building. The toilet was attached to the room, but there was also one just outside the room. At first, I found it inconvenient that there was no washroom in the room, but there was a shared bathroom just outside the room, so it was surprisingly not a problem. Even though it was shared, there were only a few rooms, so I never met other guests, so I had a very quiet time. The room as well as the futon were clean and comfortable. It was also nice that a basket and towels were prepared in advance for use in the hot springs. 【hot spring】 What was most wonderful was the hot springs, especially the open-air bath, which was extremely comfortable and my skin was smooth until the next day. The indoor bath was too hot for me, and I liked the outdoor bath because it was cooler than the indoor bath and I could take a longer bath, but if you like hot water, the indoor bath might be better. The changing area was spacious and clean, and had a hair dryer and all-in-one gel. 【meal】 The dishes were made with plenty of local ingredients, and were carefully prepared with gentle flavors. I was also happy that seasonal fruits such as Kyoho grapes and persimmons were served for dessert. It wasn't really a big deal, but by the time the grilled fish and tempura were served, it had started to cool down, which was a bit disappointing since the taste was very good. Other than that, I was very satisfied and the quantity was just right. (In the past, I sometimes felt like the food at ryokan restaurants was too much, but this one filled me up just right.) The sweet potato soup was especially popular with my family. It was warm and delicious. I want to eat this every day lol The staff at the inn were also very kind and treated me well from the time I stayed until my return, and their thoughtfulness really touched my heart. This is an inn that I would definitely like to use again.
