  I stopped by for a day bath. The location is remote and difficult to reach by public transportation. The spring quality is clear and colorless and has a slight chlorine smell, so it doesn't really feel like you're in a hot spring. However, I think the fact that the bathtub and washing area are spacious and comfortable can be appreciated. There are plenty of restaurants, massages, and more, so you can spend a comfortable time here.

  The room was clean and I had a comfortable stay. The food was more than reasonable and voluminous, and there were many menu items unique to Niigata. The hot water is not very special, but for a day trip hot spring, the chlorine wasn't too harsh and I was able to take a long bath.
