::Perfect location: 5 min walk to the Nagasaki train station, direct link to the nearby shopping mall. Polite staff. Very clean. Very high price-quality ratio.

::The plus point is the location, Amu plaza is just next door and the train & tram station are nearby too. Staff is also nice and friendly. I do think they can improve on their wifi, it is at times unstable. I also do not like their electric kettle, the remaining half of the water is always hard to pour out.

::Great location - a few minutes walk from the station, right above the mall, few minutes away from the bus/tram stations. Service is good, the staff are helpful Laundry machines available (no need to bring laundry detergent) Rooms are a good sized, clean.

::It's good for a 3 star hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location. Rooms were very small though. I know it's normal in Japan but we couldn't even open our suitcases and the bed was pushed up against the wall. The bathroom was ok but felt claustrophobic for me (186cm tall).

::Everything was excellent. The cleanliness of the rooms, the performance of the staff, the comfort of the beds and chairs, all were fabulous. We even had a great view from our hotel room. The only issue was more an architectural one: we had a few large bags, and at least one was too big for the escalator outside the hotel lobby. The hotel does not have a elevator to ground level, the first floor. If you have large bags, you may be able to use the elevator in AMU Plaza (to the left/east of the hotel lobby entrance) to get to the walkway level on the second floor, or get to the walkway from the AMU Plaza "New Building" which is north of the hotel lobby. These buildings are not open at all hours, though. The breakfast restaurant had closed, so we can't rate that. We bought food in the food court on the first floor of the AMU Plaza (where Mister Donut is) the first day, but our second morning, that hadn't opened in time for our scheduled departure, and we had to go to the Nagasaki Station to a bakery to find food for breakfast before we had to leave. The hotel has access to the 5th floor of AMU Plaza, where the restaurants are, from the hotel elevators, so you can stay inside if you are going to those restaurants. As of February 2024, there is construction for the bus stops, which includes the walkways over the main street (highway 202?). Note that there are no street-level crossings over this street. There are elevators and escalators available. When you make a reservation for the JR Kyushu hotel, you have the option of becoming a JR Hotels Member. There are some benefits to this, such as a slightly later check-out time. At check-in you have the option of using your Suica card (even a virtual card) as your membership card, instead of getting a separate, physical card.
