  I deposited the coins I had saved in my piggy bank when I got my passbook made, but at the bank I usually use, I had a machine count my coins before depositing them, but I had to ask a female bank clerk to count them for me. When it was served, I reluctantly had it counted. I think it's either that it's a hassle to deal with things that big banks can do for small banks that don't have a lot of customers, or that it's discrimination against newcomers.
