When I opened the pack, there was a strong ammonia smell. I boiled it with salt, but the boiled water had a strong ammonia smell. When I took out the flesh of the leg, it still had an ammonia smell, and when I looked it up on the internet, I was told that I shouldn't eat it. I decided to throw it away without eating it. I realized that I needed to judge the quality with my own eyes instead of relying on the store staff.

  Fresh food is cheap so I go shopping often, but yesterday I bought gyoza meat and when I opened the package as soon as I got home, there was a distinct rotten smell! Maybe vinegar was used as a seasoning...I wanted to think that it was okay, but when I cooked it a little and put it in my mouth, the taste of rotten natto spread out. Discard immediately. I bought some sashimi along with it, and it smelled okay, so when I tried it, I found that the center had a slimy texture, and although the taste was okay, it was disgusting, so I threw it away. Looking back, my daughter, who is not sensitive to heat, was sweating in the store when it was so hot, and I guess the display shelves weren't properly refrigerated. If it were a regular supermarket, I would complain, but since it's cheap here, I have the impression that it's a hit or miss, so I'll keep quiet and decide not to go there again.

  Cheap supermarket in Tsushida area! Looks like it's only open on weekdays. There is a fish shop called Takiyo Uoten that sells sushi such as Seijiro, so I recommend eating fish. This time I bought tuna and salted fish, and of course they went very well with rice and were very delicious. I think it would cost about twice as much at other stores. The meat looked delicious, so I'd like to try different things next time.
