  It felt like a country inn and it was nice. I made a reservation because I wanted to eat Koshihikari from Uonuma. All-you-can-eat Koshihikari rice from Uonuma for dinner and breakfast. Moreover, the rice varieties for dinner and breakfast were different (maybe not Koshihikari). Even though the rice is delicious on its own, I end up eating a lot because there are side dishes. . . lol lol I was relieved that the breakfast was a good amount lol Both morning and night were delicious! The "soba gaki" was especially delicious. The hot springs are colorless and transparent and piping hot at 52 degrees Celsius. The indoor bath was so hot that I couldn't take a bath. It was cold outside so I stayed too long. The medicinal herbal bath was easy to bathe in. The room does not have a bath, but has a toilet with a washlet. Although it was October, I caught three stink bugs. There is duct tape available for catching them, but we recommend catching them in a trash can and releasing them outside, then grabbing them with toilet paper and flushing them down the toilet. The table was occupied by another couple, but there was a time when a stink bug fell from the ceiling as we were relaxing and drinking alcohol after the meal. If there are no stink bugs...(it can't be helped since it's in nature) The equipment is undeniably old. There were not many outlets, there were no outlets near the sink, and although there was a shared toilet and sink, the lights in the shared sink did not turn on. It's a bit inconvenient that there aren't any outlets available, so it might be a good idea to bring some octopus legs. There are two air conditioners, and the lights can be controlled with a remote control, which is convenient. WiFi available. For carrier lines, au is almost not available, Docomo is weak, and Rakuten Mobile is normal. Softbank is unconfirmed.

  When I arrived, there were no yukata, toothbrush, etc. sets in the room. Also, the yukata I received had a hole in it (it looked like it had deteriorated over time), so when I asked for a replacement, I was met with skepticism, asking, ``A hole? Where is it?'' It seemed like he was finally convinced when I actually showed him the hole. The quality of the hot spring water was pleasant, but the open air was a little lukewarm, and perhaps because of that, something like an aluminum heat-insulating sheet was still floating on it. The shampoo bottles in the washing room sometimes showed dark spots, and the cleanliness of the changing room was at a level that needed a little more effort. It can't be helped that the inn itself is old, but I think it could use a little more work. The food was plentiful, and in addition to sashimi, whole grilled rockfish, eggplant dengaku, and pork shabu, there were also several small side dishes that went well with alcohol, which I was very satisfied with.

  It was my first time staying here, and I found the mountainous area rich in nature soothing. Local ingredients were used for the meals, and the bowl of soba noodles was exquisite. The rice was Shinnosuke brand rice and was delicious. It's great to have a bath and an open-air bath!! ️The customer service is also very attentive and wonderful ❗My wife and I both said that this hotel ranks among the ones we would like to come back to again. It was a relaxing and relaxing stay.

  Fantastic food, Wonderful experience! The room was warm and clean, the onsen was lovely and very relaxing, the futon was a bit too hard for me but my husband said it was fine. The meal was delicious, you get a LOT of food! The hotel is old so naturally in areas it could do with some love and care but this did not take away from the experience.
