  I am in shock how old rooms are and smells moldy and there even black mold on AC… can’t smell it… can’t breath here…rooms even not cleaned properly! Black carpet on the floor in the room was never washed (assume from its look and smell). In the bathroom old toothpaste or creams on the wall! Japan everywhere we’ve been so far is so clean, how can it be like this here in such paradise place?! Huge queue for the breakfast??? Really??? I have to wait ages to eat prepaid breakfast?Lunch and dinner among many restaurants here also only by reservation?! Half tables in restaurants for dinner are empty but you can’t enter and eat because they are reserved. Try to explain it to your hungry kids…Common!!! It’s not the first hotel in the world with such capacity, never had such problems in any country and any hotel even in Japan so far. Staff at reception does not speak English at all! It’s ok though, they don’t have to, managed with translator and people are nice and trying to help. It’s purely Japanese hotel for Japanese people. Apparently they are not interested in international tourists here…was so happy in Osaka, in Kyoto, and stay in this moldy hotel ruined all impression, though views outside are stunning and beautiful like in paradise. Style of the hotel is amazing! But please guys renovate! P.S: Couldn’t sleep all night and at the morning just took a chance to request if they have renovated rooms, and they did! I am happily moved my family to renovated rooms and life is perfect now! What a kind staff! They even didn’t make any conditions. Moved in a minutes!

  A very beautiful hotel set with a Spanish theme that has lots of green in its surrounding, spacious room, perfect sunset, private beach and its own white chapel. I'm glad to stay here for a rejuvenating holiday retreat, and it's definitely one of the recommended resorts for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Located right in the middle of Okinawa main island, it makes traveling around Okinawa much easier especially when you drive.

  My husband and I have stayed at the Hotel Nikko a few times now and each time it exceeds our expectations. Between the shower/tub steam rooms in each room, the view from every balcony and the large Hollywood type beds you won’t forget you’re staying at a luxury resort. If the weather is right, hit up the beach on their property and rent yourself a paddleboard or kayak to explore the reef just beyond the swimming area and you won’t be disappointed! Have fun!

  I feel that some of the staff did not welcome non-Japanese. I can almost feel the coldness when u talk to them in English. The lifeguards from the swimming pool are cold and not friendly, so as the bell captain and some restaurant waitress. The room is spacious and looks clean. But it smells damp and mouldy, probably coming from carpet/ wooden furniture. I also got bug bites when I’m in room. There’s no gym or public bath in this hotel. There’s nothing to do at night if you don’t have a rental car to go out. The dinner in this hotel is expensive but tastes mediocre. Only plus side is the large swimming pool and beautiful beach view.

  My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was courteous and always helpful. They have a lot more rules for safety than other resorts I’ve stayed at, but at least it keeps the guests safe. After seeing some of the other resorts on the island, I’m fairly certain this is the best one all around. It has a much more local feel and a solid Japanese/Okinawan experience vs many of the others that are much more western styled. The food is amazing and the staff is top notch. I strongly recommend getting a package that includes breakfast.
