  Great hotel of good value and location. At the heart of Saga next to the prefecture office. It is clean and functional but with some signs of aging.

  Location is good but the rooms are old, aircon and fridge is loud hence not conducive for a good night sleep. There are also molds in the bath room floor and shower curtains.

  New Otani is an institution of a hotel in Japan. Distinguished and classy. The hotels themselves are now quite dated with their classic style, but old furnishings and amenities. A redesign and refurbish would do the brand wonders. Rooms are old, but relatively spacious. Lobby is grand. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection.

  It seems a bit out of the way, but the views of the former castle grounds are beautiful. The hotel feels as if was luxurious in the 1950s, but not much has been done to update the facilities since then. It’s strange because this brand has a favorable reputation for quality. This is supposedly the best hotel in Saga, so good luck!

  Old hotel that could needs a major renovation to stay relevant. Room was relatively spacious. Service was average. Breakfast delivered to the room due to the pandemic was a nice courtesy. Worth staying here if the price is right. Location is a bit inconvenient though, as it's quite far from the station and there isn't much of interest in the area near the hotel.
