  This onsen can be used by people not staying in the hotel. All you need to do is purchase a ticket at the counter. It is probably the largest and most popular onsen in Akita City. There are so many baths that you can try, that I recommend spending at least one hour here. The facilities are clean, and you can rent a towel and hair dryer. For those who are using public transportation, I recommend taking a taxi after the onsen, rather than using a bus.

  Great baths. Vending machines need to be restocked more often though.

  This is one of the better onsens in the city, mainly because of their outdoor section and scented bath. Their decoration isn't as good as other places, but the bathes combined with the price make it one of the best.
