Charming ryokan with good local food, and outdoor onsen facilities. Provides extra perks like free morning coffee (it’s not part of the typical Japanese breakfast set) and an evening tour to view the nearby vine bridge and waterfall at night.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It should not be a 2 star hotel but rather a 4 star, rivaling major hotel chains that are well known. Service: staff is friendly. Besides Japanese, there will be staff who speaks English and Chinese. Food: amazing and way too much food. You have to select the time of breakfast and dinner the day before. Room: clean, spacious. I loved the shower with private hot sauna. The bed was a bit hard and pillows were not as comfortable. Yukata is in the room for each guests and you can where it around the hotel including at meals. Outdoor private Onsen: highly recommend. You pay extra for 40 minutes but it is worth it. Sweeping views of Iya Valley.

We had a superb experience at one of the best onsen hotels we've ever visited. The local cuisine served at dinner and breakfast was delightful. The open-air onsen, accessible by a short cable car ride, provided a unique and enjoyable experience. The hotel offers a traditional house next to the onsen for guests to experience ancient Japanese living, complete with tea service and a foot onsen just outside the house. The indoor onsen and sauna facilities are available on the third floor of the main building. Their hospitality is exceptional, although it might feel a bit overwhelming for foreigners not used to such attentiveness. A complimentary short tour at 8 PM takes guests to Kazura Bashi (vine bridge) for a walk, with a small waterfall nearby. The entire tour, conducted in a retro bus, lasts about 30 minutes. During dinner, the owner shared local stories and sang a traditional song for everyone. Although we didn't understand the language, we appreciated her performance. We highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in a very spacious traditional Japanese room, which was truly cozy.

I would definitely come back due to the friendliness of all the staff at this hotel. I would personally rate this hotel 4 star . Room is large , bathroom is clean , food is delicious ( especially the staffs from the restaurant who speaks Cantonese, mandarin and English and can clearly explain to us about the food being served), outdoor onsen at the little hillside is beautiful . After dinner , the lady owner sang us their local song which is very heart warming. After dining , hotel gave a free bus tour to the most popular vine bridge and waterfall in the very antique blue bus ( about 30 mins )

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Kazurabashi Hotel was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable customer service that truly made us feel welcome. During dinner, the female boss personally greeted us and even treated us to a beautiful traditional song. Her genuine hospitality, along with the attentive staff, made our dining experience unforgettable. Plus, the delicious charcoal-grilled fish and other local dishes were a delightful culinary journey. The spacious room provided a comfortable retreat, complete with modern amenities in the restroom and shower room. We also appreciated the well-equipped and clean indoor onsen, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. But the highlight of our stay was definitely the outdoor onsen, offering breathtaking views and accessed via a quick 2-minute cable car ride. It was a truly serene and rejuvenating experience. To top it all off, the hotel offers complimentary coffee from 7:30 am to 10 am, a thoughtful touch to start the day right. And we couldn't pass up the opportunity to join the free night tour to visit the Kazurabashi Bridge at 9 pm, which added an extra layer of charm to our stay. Overall, Kazurabashi Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of outstanding customer service, delicious meals, fantastic onsen experiences, and thoughtful amenities made our visit unforgettable.
