  This is my third time staying at this hotel. I have been impress each time I visited. It is not the newest hotel but facilities are well equiped. Bike rental and onsen are available and staff are very friendly and helpful in directing you to whatever you need. The location is a short 10min walk from the station and there is a huge supermarket just 4 minutes walking distance. The room is on the larger end for Japanese hotels. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a nice variety. The only downside I would say is the price. But price are expensive everywhere in Karuizawa so this is worth spending consider the value we got in return. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have a good holiday in this beautiful area of Japan.

  Amazing place to stay..rooms are very clean and relaxing.. specially the routenburo （炉雨天ぶろ）hot water springs are nice to experience room

  Hotel location is decent, 15 mins walk from Karuizawa Station. Easy to locate. Just walk straight from the station and turn right into a small road. Hotel is a bit dated but overall it s clean and well maintained. The public bath (onsen) is not crowded and you can enjoy it all by your own. Free welcome drink at the cafe. My kids like the apple juice. There is a supermarket and Mac nearby so quite convenient. The deluxe room have 4 beds and is very spacious. Recommended

  Nice rooms with decent views. Food range limited. Staff not very helpful with limited English spoken. Good quality large supermarket nearby that saves the day for me.

  Some spots in the room could be cleaner, especially the mold in the bathroom. However, this is offset by the fact that they have a nice bath house, and the bathroom is therefore unlikely to be used. Also the room is quite big and has a balcony. The hotel is in the shape of a square doughnut, with a courtyard in the middle. the rooms are looking either inward or outward. The rooms looking inward still have a view onto the courtyard. The rooms on the outer ring have a view onto the street or neighbours. Public bath is good, and comes with sauna and a few outdoor baths. The outdoor baths do not have any kind of view. Parking garage is easy to use, but there is also parking space on the other side of the side street. If you wish, you can skip room cleaning, for which they will give you a ¥500 coupon for every cleaning skipped, to be used at the gift shop. Prices there are decent but the selection could be better. Breakfast and dinner are quite expensive, so I arranged my own. There is a big supermarket just one block over, which might have everything to prepare a breakfast. You could also use the Macca's across the road, but I didn't.
