  Similar experience to Tom's: saw 2 locals enter who clearly had no reservation. But me as a foreigner was told 'reservation only'. I was prepared to spend good money on some delicious steaks, but alas.. I hope other establishments in Akita are more hospitable towards foreigners.

  I went into an empty restaurant and was told I needed a reservation. To order okonomiyaki? I think they just don’t serve foreigners here.

All dishes are course meals, and although there are many non-alcoholic drinks, they also have a wide selection of sake and wine, so you can order according to your preference. This time, I ordered a 7-course "Taste Comparison Course of 2 Types of Steak" for 8,500 yen, and I think all I could say was "delicious" from beginning to end! The store clerk was very polite and gave me a pleasant response. I would like to visit again, and next time I would like to order steak hors d'oeuvres for takeout.

  Steak course only. Courses start from 5,500 yen. There are many wines that are just right for around 5,000 yen. The main meat is a masterpiece that looks and tastes delicious. To finish your meal, you can choose between okonomiyaki or monja. Appetizers include shellfish and shrimp.
