::It’s my second time to revisit this hotel. The experience of the first time was great. But the second time is disappointing. The hotel is getting old and one of the reason I come visit their hotel is because of their breakfast buffet… but seems like they do not offer it anymore but offering set menu instead. Given the price and location, will probably not visit again.

::Location is weird but the view is fantastic. Went for Christmas lunch only. The staff at the restaurant is nice but the staff at front door is kind of strange. I was with a baby. When I got off the taxi, she saw me holding a baby and a baby stroller. But she didn't even try to offer help at all.

::The open terrace "beer garden" is now open until October 2021, and this is a romantic place for a date for two, or a fun double-date spot with friends. Two hours of all-you-can-eat and drink, with a panoramic view of the entire city. The price runs a little high, so it won't be for everyone, but for celebrating a special occasion with friends, or treating yourself to a night of eating your fill and drinking fresh made cocktails and beer on tap, this is a fun activity to consider. Check the weather and book a date that's meant to be sunny, and aim to arrive just before sunset in order to enjoy the full array of scenery, from sunset to evening with the city lights ablaze. Early May is still a little chilly so bring a light jacket for when the temperature drops after dark. :-)

::I really enjoyed my stay at Agora Hilltop Hotel a few months ago (I'm still thinking about it from time to time - hence the review!). I arrived a bit before check-in time, and they stored my luggage for me. I walked around a quiet nearby park for about an hour and half, while I waited. The hotel is a bit isolated, but the buses near by took me everywhere I wanted to go. I chose to stay there to be near where my friends live (they have a ton of small children, so decided to stay at a hotel this time). I stayed in a double room. It was quite spacious and had a lovely view. However, there were some stains on the carpet. I found the bed very comfortable and slept very well. I really, really loved the hotel-provided pajamas, and actually really regret not buying a set (can buy from the hotel gift shop). I really, really enjoyed the breakfast buffet - there was great variety and the scenery was stunning. I also ate dinner one night in the hotel restaurant, and really enjoyed it. The staff made me a honey-ginger concoction after I mentioned my sore throat, and I felt like the service was great throughout my stay. I also took advantage of the spa and enjoyed a massage. It was a great, relaxing stay, and I would love to stay again in my next visit to Fukuoka. The whole place has stunning views - even the parking lot. Despite it's location, I think it's totally worth it.

::Beautiful scenery and great public bath facility. The room is a bit small and dark. The attention to details are not great. Service could be improved. I had some international postcards (with stamps) on the day of departure and they refused to help with sending them saying they only accept domestic post request.
