  The air conditioner and bathroom smell like mold, there is no trash can in the room, etc. It feels like it's not very well-maintained as an accommodation facility. I couldn't sleep well because I could hear all the noise from the hallway. I made a reservation over the phone, but I was not asked to fill out the accommodation book, so I wonder if the management is okay...? I think. The owner also spoke to me in a sloppy Japanese language, which made me a little confused. The first floor is a restaurant, so that might be the main attraction. It was helpful that the price was low and they accommodated last-minute reservations. It's close to the station, so if you have no other options in Shizuoka city, I think it will be useful.

  My son got into trouble during the trip, so I had no choice but to stay the night at Kusanagi Station, which I had never been to before. I searched here and made a reservation on short notice, but I didn't have high expectations, but the pasta for dinner was delicious and the host was so kind that I was happy to forget about any trouble.

  I used it on a trip with my best friend for the first time in over 10 years. As mentioned in other reviews, it is an inn with the style of an auberge at Ristorante Salepepe. However, even though it is an auberge, it is still an inn, so a 6 tatami room was prepared. It's a bit cramped for two guys, but considering it's the middle of summer vacation and the price of staying overnight without meals, I think it's reasonable. However, it cannot be said that the room was sufficiently cleaned, and there were stains on the futon cover and many areas where dirt was visible. In particular, we noticed that the air conditioner was not working properly, and when we looked at it, we found that the filter was very dusty, so we, the guests, had to clean it before using it. Please be aware that under the scorching midsummer sun, if your air conditioner doesn't work or breaks down, it can literally be fatal. There was a lot of mold in the ventilation holes, so I was worried that my throat would get hurt, but I didn't feel anything wrong with my body. I think a single healthy man can use it without any problems, but I think it would be a little difficult for women. I guess the manager has his hands full with the ristorante. That seemed a little disappointing. However, as I repeat, this price seems to be cheap for a room without meals in the middle of summer vacation, so I would say it's worth considering. PS: One point that was mentioned in other people's reviews. I think the owner of Sarepepe is probably in charge of the management, but he wasn't particularly grumpy or unfriendly. They greeted me with a smile when I entered and left the room.
