::As soon as we got inside, a nice lady took us in and showed us the menu where we chose what we wanted. We wanted to try the kaiseki meal during the lunch time. We were seated upstairs in a classic traditional place with tatami mats. The whole place had a very relaxed, traditional and calm feel to it. The lady who served us was very nice and explained everything perfectly. She made the experience even better for us. Every course was explained to us in English and then the lady even decided to take a picture of us! The meals were presented so nicely and looked so appetizing! I highly recommend it.

::Our dinner at 花咲 萬治郎restaurant this past week was awesome. The presentation and quality of the food were both excellent. We had a total of 9 different items and each was remarkably tasty. ::Never had i thought i would love a Japanese Degustation as i am not capable of eating raw food. After placing a reservation a day ahead we were so surprised of how great the food turned out to be (all cooked) and the chef even came to meet us after the meal. A must go to Place for a quiet and sumptuous meal.

::An amazing dining experience! We got ourselves a 12 course meal, and each and every one of the dishes we were served were beautiful, intricate, and of course very tasty. On top of that, the staff members were all extremely polite, attentive, and friendly. Our main waitress even made conversation with us about the significance of the food and the city of Kyoto itself, and allowed us to practice our japanese. I cannot stress enough how much the quality of the service really completed the whole experience! I would highly recommend this establishment to any foreigners wishing to experience Kaiseki for the first time!

::Better than any Michelin restaurant we had here in Kyoto. I recommend! The dishes were perfect, tasted good and the service was impeccable. Every dish was presented to perfection and looked incredible. I recommend trying the 10k over dishes so you can get a private room.
