  Chika-chan and her team were amazing, super helpful and genki. We were a group of 14 and they accommodated all our questions and provided advice for all the best onsens and places to go, whilst were also knowledgeable about which ski resorts were best to visit depending on condiitions and abiliity. Would definitely stay here again and recommend anyone else either in a group or by themselves to do thie same.

  I didn’t stay here but had dinner. The udon noodle soup was the best we have had (tried the meat and seafood ones) and the energy is so beautiful. Highly recommend.

  We travelled from Vancouver, Canada and stayed at the Hakuba METEOR Pension & Log Hotel in 2019. It was such a beautiful and peaceful experience that we often think about it years later... Tetsu and his family were hospitable and warm. The estate is well maintained, cozy, and down to Earth. They also offer super tasty food from their kitchen.

  Excellent establishment. Staff are very friendly and always willing to help. An example of this is when a member of staff helped us get a shuttle bus to a ski resort outside of hours. The hotel breakfast is ¥500 for cereal and toast or ¥900 for a proper breakfast. There is a free Hakuba 47 shuttle bus stop outside the hotel, and a free bus that runs to Happo One and the central bus station. There’s also an excellent dry room to hang gear at the end of the day. I stayed with 8 other friends and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. It’s a 5 minute walk to echo land main road, although it’s a 15 minute walk to an ATM. The facilities in this hotel are quite nice. Bed is comfortable with a warm blanket. Showers are a little small, but has good hot water. Overall was very worth the money for the convienience and location - note that this hotel is closest to Hakuba 47 and Happo One
