    [2024.6] I had ramen (858 yen). This is my first visit in 25 years since 1999. A wonderful soup with a sweet and fragrant aroma of aged pork bones. The bone marrow feeling is still intact, giving it a rich impression even among Nagahama varieties. The noodles are also ultra-thin noodles with low water content typical of the Nagahama style. You can taste the texture of the core, and you can enjoy it both by chewing and slurping. The red pickled ginger and mustard mustard greens on the table are standard, but I'm glad that I can make some changes. The flavor is centered around the natural pork bones, and the aftertaste is more refreshing than I expected. Founded in 1995, it has the aura of a long-established store.

    I heard that this ramen was very pungent and I was intrigued. Unfortunately, it wasn't for me. I was hoping that even if the smell was very strong maybe it would taste good, but unfortunately the taste wasn't my cup of tea either. The karaage (fried chicken) was incredibly delicious.

    My parents are both from Kyusyu and they love ramen. So whenever I smell Goten's distinctive smell of Tonkotsu, it kind of brings back my childhood memories. For some people they may not favour the smell; just like some people dislike the smell of cheese. Anyway, their simple ramen is something I crave for once in a while. Their fried dumplings are good, too; crispy and juicy which go well with beer.
