::The Furano Cheese Factory is a delightful spot for cheese lovers. The interactive experience of making your own cheese is engaging, and the range of unique cheeses, like squid ink and wine-infused, is impressive. The scenic surroundings enhance the visit. We rented a bike to get there

::The goats were so cute and well taken care of. You can enjoy coffee and ice cream while watching the goats from the terrace. The ice cream was very fresh, and the café latte was delicious. You can also have meals like pasta.

::This place is absolutely incredible and a definite must-see! The Furano Cheese Factory is a haven for cheese lovers and curious travelers alike. We opted out of the guided tour since it was mostly in Japanese, but that didn't hinder our experience one bit. Wandering through the factory, we got a firsthand look at the meticulous process behind their delectable creations. Watching the cheese being crafted, sampling the various flavors, and soaking in the rich, dairy-filled atmosphere made for an unforgettable adventure. The experience was both educational and delicious—truly a highlight of our trip!

::This place is about 20 mins cycling distance from Furano town center, and there’s a very steep slope leading up to the factory so be prepared for uphill climb. No entry fee and you get to observe cheese making process via glass windows. They have attached pizza, ice cream and diary shops and a small museum. I recommend their cheese ice cream; it’s quite pleasant. Apparently you could also sign up for cheese and ice cream making classes here but be sure to do so in advance. I don’t think they allow walk-in registration. There’s enough parking space for cars and bicycles.

::You can sign up for butter, cheese or ice cream classes here but do come earlier so that you can secure a slot. Cheesecakes are one of the best I have ever tried and the milk is heavenly. There is no aftertaste on your taste buds, and you can tell that it's extremely fresh. There is a pizzeria which also serves amazing pizza fresh from the oven. Highly recommended
