::The best warabi mochi tasted so far. The warabi mochi is crystal clear. A little sweetened to perfection. As stated it’s made from the clear water that runs from the otowa waterfall at Kiyomizu temple. Dip it into the kinako powder is amazing. You can dip it with the that you want. And the kuromitsu syrup is not too sweet. For the flavours, yellow bean should be better to clear the tastes. The pieces are huge, able to eat as a mouthful. The environment is great that is clean and very unique dining experience. Very Japanese style, very beautiful place.

::Tucked away in a (pretty) alleyway from the main drag to/from the Kiyomizu-dera Temple is this delightful, tranquil pair of Japanese dessert shops. My teen daughter adores these kinds of delicate desserts. I can't describe them, so just take a look at the photos.

::I’ve eaten here twice; ordered the warabi mochi set. Lovely outdoor garden to sit in to get away from the crowds in the street to Kiyomizu-dera. Self service joint with above average prices.

::The place is extremely clean, peaceful and relaxing to savour some matcha sweets and delicacy. Ideal for gifts and souvenirs, they are inexpensive and highly presentable. Highly recommended place to visit.
