::It was a bad experience. The food is ok, not bad but the service is not great. They gave me a menu and hand me a QR code. But I don’t need to look at menu so I ordered right away verbally to one of the waitresses. She confirmed my order. Then I waited half hour without getting food. So I asked another waitress saying I’ve ordered but waited a long time. She said she couldn’t see my order. I told her I ordered verbally. Then she walked away. Waited another 15 mins then I finally see my dish. You can only order by QR code in this place and don’t bother talking with those people. The Katsu is too fat for my liking.

::Food: It is worth to stop by and try Daimaru's Katsu Curry. Portion is exceptionally worthwhile for a guy if you order the large Katsu Curry. Katsu was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Service: Nothing short of Japanese service where you're greeted with politeness. Food serving time was rather quick given that we stop by during peak lunch crowd on a weekend. Atmosphere: Feels very homely and café-like but the only downside is that, like any other Japanese house or building, the space is rather constraining. Beware of coming during lunch crowd and weekends as you are likely to wait outside due to full house.

::Despite being very busy, the service remained top notch. Had Japanese curry rice with tonkatsu and it was amazing.

::This little shop is just a short walk from Biei Station. The Tonkatsu with Ramen set was only 1,280 Yen and it was so tasty. You can put tonkatsu sauce to make it tastier. The people there were very nice and accommodating. Will definitely come back again.

::Went in for lunch with my wife on Sunday without a reso. We were seated after ~15 min. Kind staff and food was delicious. Pork cutlet tasted clean and hearty.
