  Lovely experience at Enraku. We went during what I assumed to be the low season but there's really no reason to have to leave the hotel at all. Excellent facilities.

  Pleasant time with bathing in a natural hot spring water, enjoying a volume breakfast, and resting in a karaoke room with others during heavy-rain days in December.

  Exceptional experience in a traditional Japanese style hot spring “Onsen (温泉)”. Unazuki Onsen (宇奈月温泉) used to have 30 of hotels in the area, but now there are 10 of them. Enraku (延楽) is the survivor and the best. Open-air bath (1st floor) is clean and very very comfortable. We stayed a 15th top floor room and the view from the room was excellent. It faces Kurobe river (黒部川) or valley.

  The outdoor baths are a little small and can be full quite quickly. The food is standard for this kind of high end Ryokan...but not above and beyond the rest. Great service and big comfortable rooms are its very positive points.
