  Good location near the station. We had two adjoining rooms for the three of us, one with two beds and the other with one. So lots of room and privacy. Good breakfast, nice Onsen (with ice cream).

  There is a FamilyMart right opposite to the hotel. And a seven eleven near by. The receptionist is very nice and helpful. Although their english is not fluent, they have a translator machine and makes communication much more easier. We arrived early, and they are more than welcome to help our luggage storage. After the hot spring, they provided free sou sauce ramen. Not a big portion, but we bought some food from the convenient store near by and enjoy with the ramen, which was delicious. The hotel is not very near to the Himeji Castle. It takes around 30 minutes to walk there through the main street. It was ok cause there are many to see at the main street. We went to the castle by taxi, with less then 2000yen within 10 minutes. Would highly recommend this hotel.

  I ussually love staying at dormy inns however this one must be one of their older hotels. The toilet & bidet were very outdated & their wasn't much room to sit on the toilet, the ceiling in the room seemed low in places and I hit my head in the bathroom on the lower section. The fridge in our room kept freezing our drinks & food. The free ramen, ice cream & morning probiotic drinks are always a win. Also loved the open air onsen on the roof of the hotel. The hotel is in a good location close to Himeji station & castle so it does have that going for it.

  Very good hotel to stay at for a night. Bring earplugs, though, the neighbor's shower was crazy noisy as was the 24/7 fan in the bathroom (and the biker gang at night lol). The onsen was lovely and I had it all to myself at midnight. I appreciate them using a pin code to enter the women's bath. Everything was perfectly clean. The bed was nice and big. Super comfy desk chair! I'd have loved to try the breakfast but gimme a break: 8:40am closing time. I'm on vacation xD. Check out time is 11am, though, that's a relief in Japan.

  Dormy Inn staff bent over backwards to help us and they were absolutely lovely. Rooms are a little older but the location is great and the staff were keen to answer our questions. They received our luggage that we sent on and helped us send it on again. They helped us a lot and we will return!
