The environment is decent, but i politely asked for some milk for my coffee. The waitress said no and I said I’m happy to pay for a bit of milk. She said no and hinted that I could probably buy a full cup of milk for 450 yen. Also their cake was way too sweet. Almost got diabetes with the cake. Anyways it was diabolical to not provide a dash of milk for coffee, and I walked 15 minutes home with it, bought milk at the shop and heated up the coffee again. I do hope this review prompts management to inform staff to have better customer service to a polite customer paying for drinks and food.

Great desserts and nice coffee! I recommend the sweet dessert menu with warm cake, bean paste, ice cream and a coffee jelly. Could easily share this as well if you order just a drink for the second person.

The most fashionable coffee house on the way to Ise (outer) Jingu. Loved the design and decorations. Friendly staffs for tourists. Basic English would work here. The afternoon coffee/tea set is perfect after the tour from the shrine. Cake is amazing! Very comfy ambient. Craftsman coffee and roaster available.

    1. Serving coffee float with ice cubes is a no-go. They should not call it coffee float then. The amount of ice cubes left after finishing the drink is so high that for me it looks like they want to save money... (more ice = less coffee). 2. Even when drinking coffee inside the shop, all coffees are served in plastic cups / paper cups with plastic lids. This is unacceptable for the high price. 3. The taste was average.

The Castella is great, but I did not like the sugar chunks at the bottom of it. Was to sweet, otherwise it would be 5 stars. The coffee was awesome, cold dripped, tasted like dark chocolate. 2 pieces of cake and a small coffee for 750 yen is fair for the offered.
