::We didn’t have a reservation when we arrived so the staff asked us to come back after an hour so they could seat us then. The shaved ice was good, and definitely one of the more unique experiences with the flambé kakigori🔥

::Delicious yakigori (shaved ice dessert) we didn't find any other yakigori quite so tasty on our trip! We had a caramel and strawberry with flambeed rum poured on top and a matcha tiramisu. Around ¥1500 each. Absolutely worth it. The space is authentic nothing fancy. Pay at a machine with cash only. It was hard to find need to go up to the 4th floor.

::Not really sure why the rating is so low. Cool cafe to get some coffee and some yakigori. I had no idea this existed, but it is quite delicious. They bring the ice mound out and torch it in front of you, which is kinda cool. The coffee was really good and the chocolate cake was solid. A little on the expensive side but worth a try.

::Gateau Chocolat 🍫🍰 @cafe_lumiere_kichijyoji Famous for its cute and instagrammable "yakigori" flaming shaved ice desserts, Cafe Lumiere is always super busy during the summer months, so I deliberately waited until the weather got colder so it would be easier to get a seat. ❄️😏 Aside from shaved ice, their cakes are very good too, with the cake set in particular offering extremely good value. 🉐 I ordered the most popular menu - gateau chocolate with hot coffee and it was very good. ::Really cool flambé Kakigoori that you can’t get elsewhere in Japan. It will be flambeed at your seat. I heard it can get crowded on the weekends but on weekdays you can get a seat immediately. Menu changes regularly based on season. They also have yummy curry now.
