  We came here from beppu otw to nakatsu. Only can access here if you are driving. We took the back way. You need ETC card to enter but wont be charged toll fee if you exit at the same ETC entry. The other way requires u to pay a toll. The cafe is nice, swiss roll is as good as others reviewed but here you can enjoy the surrounding views which are spectacular. It was abit windy and cloudy for us so we cant see far. I could imagine if the weather is a clear bluesky the view would be amazing. Its the same famous B-speak from Yufuin. Recommend the original swiss roll and earlgrey cheese cake

  Roll cake is delicious. It looks big, but it's fluffy and disappears in no time. You can't eat unless you get on the highway. If you enter from Beppu Bay Smart IC, you can only proceed in the direction of Hiji, so be careful! ️

  You can only come if you drive yourself, coz it is located at the Highway exit. The roll is so good, so fluffy, the best plain egg roll ever. You can oversee the whole Beppu here! Highly recommended!
