  During my stay at the ANA CROWN ROYAL Nagasaki, I found the hotel's location to be quite convenient for exploring local attractions. It is about a 20-minute car ride from Nagasaki Station and just 7 minutes from Shinchi Chinatown. Additionally, it's a mere 2-minute walk to both the Shanghai Hongkong Bank Museum and the Chanpon Ramen Museum. The hotel is situated near the picturesque Dutch Slope, which is lined with charming souvenir shops. This area also offers easy access to the historic Oura Catholic Church, with an entrance fee of 1,000 yen. For those looking to explore further, there is a nearby bus stop that services routes to Glover Hill and Oura Cathedral. The room we stayed in was of decent size, providing a comfortable space for relaxation. The breakfast buffet leaned heavily towards Japanese cuisine, which was a delightful start to the day While the air conditioning seemed to be centralized and non-adjustable, it did not detract from the overall comfort of the stay. The staff at both the front desk and the breakfast buffet were exceptionally nice and attentive, contributing to a pleasant experience. I was also intrigued to see the Spectrum of the Seas cruise ship docked at the nearby international cruise terminal during my check-in. Overall, ANA CROWN ROYAL Nagasaki offers a convenient and comfortable stay with friendly service, making it a good choice for travelers looking to explore Nagasaki.

  The lobby is somewhat dated but has a retro charm to it. I stayed in a standard double room which is spacious enough for one person but would be a bit cramped for two. The room seems to have been renovated recently as the fixtures, furnishings and appliances look quite new. The small balcony overlooking Glover Zaka is a plus. The staff at the front desk, concierge and the restaurant are all super nice and very helpful. The location is very convenient. There is a Family Mart across from the hotel. The Oura Cathedral tram stop is just down the street and many attractions such as Glover Garden, Dejima, Confucius Shrine & Museum, Holland Zaka, Gunkanjima Digital Museum are within walking distance.

  I just stayed in various Japanese Crowne Plazas for weeks and was least excited for this older three star property. But it ended up being the most comfortable, between allowing you to control the temp, unlike the newer 4 starred Okayama and Fukuoka properties, and the standard rooms seem to be much bigger, with space to put your luggage down, and room for all your toiletries on the bathroom counter. Best elite recognition with welcome cookies and daily appreciation letters with the weather and sunset info

  The entrance of the hotel is very attractive, but the interior is less attractive. The stairs up to the 2nd floor look good though, with the chandelier and the carpet on the floor. The dining and breakfast area is on the second floor, same as the entry from the parking lot. Parking is ¥1000 per day which is reasonable. The rooms are quite spacious and again a bit outdated but clean and tidy. The breakfast is being served from 06:00 in the morning, which is a big plus.
