::On a weekday, you can get a seat right away if you arrive early. With an abundance of American memorabilia and photos of renowned patrons, the decor is vibrant and lively. The restaurant can only accommodate roughly 15 people at a time, so it would be somewhat crowded. I placed a coffee and egg sando order. The coffee was mediocre. However, the egg sando was enormous in size. Since I'm from North America, I'm accustomed to being served greater portions of meals. Thus, I managed to complete it. However, almost half of the other patrons in the restaurant had to take their sandwiches to go. The bread tasted fairly fresh and was fluffy and moist. It was not the kind of egg salad that you would usually get in Japan. It featured more substantial egg bits and a faint mustered taste. Though it wasn't the greatest egg sando I've eaten in Tokyo, it was nonetheless good. & the value you receive for your money is excellent.

::Huge portion size, mainly due to the super thick bread! As somebody who can eat quite a lot in one sitting, I only made it through just over half! Thankfully, they give you a plastic container to take the rest away in.

::The sandwich portions are huge. We visited on a weekday, just a short 5-minute wait before opening. The restaurant has a cozy, vintage American vibe, run by 3-4 staff members. It showcases many collectibles from the owner/chef. We noticed that the bread rolls were freshly delivered before the shop opened. We ordered an egg sandwich and a potato salad sandwich. Both tasted good but were very filling due to the thick and soft bread. The restaurant has a rule that each customer must order a sandwich and a drink. Given the size of the sandwiches, it's almost impossible to finish one by yourself. Be prepared to take away part of your sandwich. They provide a plastic box and bag for takeaway. Despite the cafe's charm, it may not be worth a special trip for tourists.

::Went for dine in experience but they were closed any only opened for takeaway. Stood opposite the cafe to eat my egg sando on the street. The egg salad filling is creamy and good but I personally am not a huge fan of the bread toast, way too thick and I feel with all sandwiches like burgers the bun or bread needs to meld with the filling as a whole. It was way too thick, personally prefer the regular shokupan to be the bread like what u have at train stations etc.

::Holy cow. The pictures do not do the sandwich justice…it’s HUGE. Do yourself a favor and make sure you go with someone so you can order one sandwich and share it. They do give you a box to take home your leftovers though. The pastrami was good but the bread is the star of the show. It’s delicious. Decent coffee too. It took me a while to get here, but it was worth it. Service was friendly, so not sure about the experience of other reviewers.
