  I gave birth at this hospital last year. Despite been a foreigner, I received a good treatment I thought I wouldn’t have. My delivery process was smooth. The nurses helped out during labor a lot. I stayed at the hospital for a week and they made sure I ate well since I’m not used to all their cuisine. Japanese was a problem but they were patient with us each time we visit.

  They wouldn’t let my husband (Japanese) in the room with me (American) even though I don’t speak Japanese. This is my second pregnancy. The nurse went though the initial survey paperwork with me and kept changing my answers even though she couldn’t understand me. For example I suffered a late miscarriage at 6 months and she tried to change my answer to abortion at 18 weeks. I kept correcting her and was getting so stressed and frustrated. Finally she brought my husband in to clarify and the consensus was that she didn’t understand a word of what I was saying and made changes to my chart. She also took my blood pressure and weight ticket results and said she would give them to the doctor? Which she never did and they were lost. Then my husband and I are told to sit down in a certain area in the obstetrician/gynecologist waiting room while we wait and we did. A different nurse comes over and tells my husband he can’t sit in this area and needs to get out and go sit in the lobby. I went with him cause I was stressed and did not want to be alone. We saw the doctor and he was nice and understanding and apologized for the way the “system” is but agreed maybe this hospital wasn’t right for us. I am glad he was upfront and honest at least. The one stars is literally for the doctor alone. If I could give this place no stars I would. I had an ultrasound done to make sure the baby was ok, especially since I suffered a miscarriage before only to find out insurance wouldn’t cover it but instead of telling us they just went ahead and did it and then charged us 7000¥ for the scan. They should have been upfront and told us from the beginning that insurance wouldn’t work. When we asked the receptionist about the issue it seemed like we were very mendokusai and it wasn’t her problem, and it is what it is. Apparently miscarriage/ high risk pregnancy prevention is not covered by insurance and people wonder why there is a population problem in Japan. Also side note the arrogant nurse kept trying to get us to use up our coupon book there that is issued from the ward office but I had bad vibes from the hospital and knew I didn’t not want to give birth here and did not want to waste my coupon from the city on this place. If you are a foreigner steer clear of this hospital and find a more foreign friendly hospital where your husband can be with you like most western hospitals and won’t be treated like trash. This hospital you will be just a number and a way for them to get money.

  All of the staff are very accommodating. Even i don't know how to speak Japanese well they guided me and treated me well like nobody else . They will explain to you patiently all the do’s and donts . I delivered my 2nd and third child with good experience, we stay there about 1week , I like there food as well ❤️ all the doctors nurse all the staff are good . I love this hospital.

  I as an foreigner living in Japan I’m proud to born my first child in this hospital 😍all the team member are very good my baby born in 34 week but they make everything normal so I’m very grateful thank you so much 😊

  2014 i give birth to my second child baby boy here, and this year 2019 January i also give birth to my 3rd son here, every check up is defferent but I don’t have problem only one thing, if you’re pregnant every check up you’re weight is check, not allowed the overweight very strict. Overall very good nurse and doctor. ❤️👍
