::This hospital was created as a result of the privatization of the former Prefectural Children's Welfare and Medical Center. There are many children who have to be hospitalized for long periods of time, or who are on home oxygen therapy or home ventilator therapy. I think it is very important that they continue to do this even after privatization. The medical departments include pediatrics/internal medicine, child neurology, psychiatry (developmental disorder outpatient), surgery/pediatric surgery, pediatric orthopedics, and dentistry, and there is also an outpatient clinic staffed by rehabilitation specialists.
