::This is a 7-Eleven directly managed store located at the intersection from National Route 18 towards Ueda City Library. It's a strange store, perhaps because it's a directly managed store, but the atmosphere of the staff is formal and often unfriendly. Perhaps because they are concerned about what their employees see, they often ask for sales promotions, but the cashier and in-store greetings are much lower than the nearby franchise store, so it's not a pleasant store. I've never seen anything like this at a directly managed store, even in Tokyo (although there aren't that many directly managed stores). It's a convenience store where the product selection doesn't change much, so I don't stop here unless other stores don't have the item.
