::When you land in Osaka, brace yourself for a long queue at Horai 551 - and trust me, it's worth it! We indulged in: 1️⃣ Pork Bun - soft bun, tender savory pork. Pro tip: eat it while it's still warm (a must-buy) 2️⃣ Siaw May - rich flavor, juicy goodness – we absolutely loved it 3️⃣ Gyoza - if your wallet allows, treat yourself to this extra delight The flavors linger in our memories. If you're in Osaka, facing the queue at Horai 551 is a must!

::The gyozas were cold. I’ve had way better elsewhere. The meat filled bun was yummy but mediocre. It’s not bad for the price if you’re in a rush.

::This pork bun chain was very popular in Osaka (there’s more than 2 outlets in shin-Osaka station). Not all outlets are the same though, one doesn’t sell heated food, one sells Chinese noodles and dishes. We tried the siew mai (dumplings) thinking that it should be good as well since the pork buns are so popular but they were gooey and starchy and doesn’t taste like real meat. Maybe this is how Japanese likes it. I prefer the Hong Kong version of the siew mai.

::Omg!! Make sure you stop and get yourself some dumplings - they are seriously so delicious! I went multiple times while in Osaka, trust me the wait is worth it! Thinking someone should open up a shop in the USA!

::Forget everything else just grab the pork buns and top-it off (carefully) with the mustard sauce. Eat it fresh whilst the fatty pork is still juicy and moist and the bun still maintains its bouncy texture. Great snack while looking for the right train station exits.
