::I ate the medicinal curry, but it was a little bitter at first bite, and the spices spread and the spiciness came later. Systematically, the taste is similar to Ueno's famous restaurant "Deli". True to its medicinal name, I felt much better after eating it. It has a sharp taste, so I think there are different tastes. Rather than eating curry on the go, I want to eat it when I want to attack. I really enjoy coffee after dinner.

::I always eat Shahi Jal beef curry! Both the roux and the meat are delicious! You can also choose the spiciness. (I'm not very good at spicy food, so I set it to 0.5 spiciness)

::I guess it became a curry specialty store. Curry only on the menu Order shahi jal curry I'm not a big fan of spiciness, so even this was quite spicy. Kashmir is impossible💦 It's spicy and delicious. It has a different flavor from European curry or Indian curry, so it might be a good idea to visit depending on your mood. I was able to pay cashless.

::Chuka Oshima, a curry restaurant founded in 1982, is a 9-minute walk from JR Kashiwa Station. Although the store name has "Chinese" in it, it currently only serves curry, but it was originally operated as a Chinese restaurant. Currently, the second generation son, who trained in Bombay, Yokohama, is running the restaurant, and after much trial and error, he is now offering the flavors of Bombay. This time I visited during lunch time on a weekend. I was guided to the counter without waiting! I ordered shahi jal curry and lassi. Shahi Jal Curry is one of Mr. Oshima's signature dishes, made with about one onion that has been sautéed until it turns golden brown! In Shahijal, ``shahi'' means sweet and ``jal'' means spicy. When you eat it, you can feel the spicy spiciness, followed by the umami and richness of the onions, and it's delicious! It has a nice aroma of spices, and I think it's even more delicious than the original Bombay. The ingredients include chewy and tender chicken and potatoes, making it very filling. The firm-cooked rice that goes well with the curry is also a big plus! After enjoying the curry, cool down with a demitasse coffee. I added lots of sugar and it was delicious. A taste of Bombay that surpasses Bombay, this is a must-try dish when you visit Kashiwa! Thank you for the meal.

::I visited on a Sunday around 2pm. There is no parking lot, so use the coin parking lot along the street for 220 yen/30 minutes. The restaurant was fairly full, but since I was alone, I was able to sit down without having to wait. Order the signature menu⁉︎ Shahi Jal Curry for 1,050 yen and a salad to enjoy the curry for 200 yen♪ The salad has a sour dressing based on crunchy chopped onions, which I love (^^) While I was eating the salad, the curry arrived soon~ The brown roux contains lots of meat and vegetables. The rich black curry is a combination of bitterness and sweetness, and the stimulation of spices spreads through the air. The meat goes perfectly with the rice, similar to what you would find in beef stew. The spiciness was just right for an average adult, and together with the sweet pickles on the side, it was delicious and I ate it all at once. The palate cleansing coffee service is also good! Next time, I would like to try the medicinal curry, which is another signature menu⁉︎. Wow, the curry is delicious♪ Thank you for the meal (^^)
