  The atmosphere of a hideaway in a mountain village reminded me of a scene from a swordsman business drama. I was able to enjoy the food thoroughly in a calm atmosphere. I compared the taste of Nihachi and Juwari soba set and was satisfied with both. It had a rich flavor and just the right amount of chewiness, and the scent of soba spread with every bite. Tokushima's traditional Yuzanbako are cutely displayed.

  I arrived at the store just after 1pm on Friday. The detached store was located in a green area. Approximately 10 cars can be parked in front of the store. According to the store, there were 4 people waiting, so I was told to wait in the car with a bell. After waiting in the car for about 10 minutes, the bell rang and I was called into the store. Then I was guided to the counter. Inside the store, the walls and ceiling were white, and the tables and chairs were light brown. The shop had a calm atmosphere with jazz playing quietly and gently. After looking at the menu, I ordered: “Duck steamer @1,380 yen” The soba noodles arrived in about 10 minutes. The soba itself was fresh and delicious. The soup stock had a gentle taste, yet it had a strong flavor. It was very delicious when I put the duck, green onion, and soba in the soup stock and had it together. After I finished eating the soba, I had some soba-yu added to the soup stock, which was also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

  I learned that there was a soba restaurant on the south side of Bizan, so I tried it out for lunch. Although it's located just outside of Tokushima City, it has a great location and feels like it's in the mountains. The opening time was 11 o'clock, so we visited earlier than that, but it was already open and full! When I asked the staff at the store, they told me that if a lot of customers were waiting before that time, they would open the store earlier. I was given a call bell, which is often used in food codes, and asked to wait in the car. After waiting for about 20 minutes, the buzzer rang and I entered the store. I went to the counter and ordered the ``Soba Dori Set'', which brought 28 soba noodles and 100 percent soba noodles in order. After waiting for about 15 minutes, the Nihachi soba bamboo steamer was brought out first. It was a fresh soba with a strong soba aroma. The soba soup was also pretty good. When I finished eating, a bamboo steamer with 100 percent soba was brought to me. If Juwari Soba is made poorly, it can be crumbly and not good, but the soba at this restaurant was smooth and juicy, and it was also delicious. Considering I ate two pieces of soba, it was a good value.

  Famous soba restaurant needs queuing up even it locates on a mountain! The restaurant is clean, well air-conditioned, good vibe and lighting. I ordered cold soba with hot duck soup. The soba was delicious with good texture. Hot duck meat soup has spot on balance between meat and soy sauce. I enjoyed the soba a lot! It is located on a mountain, so the transport would be a problem. But definitely recommend visiting if you are craving for good soba!

  The 10 wari Soba was delicious.
