  I'm coming to Niigata prefecture. After riding the entire Yahiko Line, I was searching for somewhere nearby to have coffee, and this shop had a retro atmosphere that caught my eye, so I decided to give it a try. . The terminus of the Yahiko Line is Higashi Sanjo. Take the Shinetsu Main Line one stop, get off at Sanjo, and walk for about 5 minutes to find this store. As you can see in the photo, the exterior has a wonderful Showa era atmosphere. I entered the store. There is stained glass near the window, which is also a wonderful touch. Apparently, the specialty here is cream soda in various colors, but since I don't drink very sweet things, this time I ordered an iced Wiener coffee. There's plenty of fresh cream on top of the iced coffee, giving it a retro feel. I thought it was a very good experience.

Currently run by the second generation's mother, this beloved coffee shop is a place where locals gather in the afternoon to communicate. The second-generation mother of the shop and her husband, who only appears on Saturdays, are friendly people, so you can have a good time even if you visit alone. Time passes slowly in the store, so we recommend that you arrive with plenty of time to spare. This is my favorite shop that I want to go to over and over again!
