::Amazing experience. Beautiful views and meals. Dinner was very traditionally Japanese, but foreigners can enjoy as well. Breakfast had fried potatoes, eggs and Belgian waffles, which I was a fan of. The reason for the middling room review is that the rooms were very dusty. Over it is definitely worth it, but maybe ask if they can vacuum their tatami before new guests arrive.

::What a brilliant idea that using a natural cliff and bush to make a bath feeling like in a forest! The price is affordable and considering the quality, it’s so valuable. The dinner looks normal but taste good, especially the dessert buffet is excellent! The preset breakfast buffet is amazing as well. You can get honey directly from a honeycomb! Last but not least, the location is so nice. You can enjoy the view of a beach with pine trees, and it takes an hour from Kobe.

::We had a very nice stay at the Okinawan style tatami (very soft) room with sea view. The view of the beach and ocean is a bit blocked by pine trees - at least until 5th floor. But there is still a good view of the coastline. The onsen is very large, has bed style resting areas in the water with with view of the mountain and autumn leaves (sadly not on novembre 23rd yet). The wooden private onsen has a very good view and a nice long chair resting area facing the coast. We went to a restaurant for dinner, Japanese breakfast was a very wide selection of pickled food, sea weed salat, smoked fish and fermented roots. For European breakfasters, the buffet has croissants, shortbread, marmelade, bacon, omlett and yoghurt. Overall, a very good selection. At peak times in july/august or on holidays, it's best to come early for breakfast or there is a bit of waiting time. The kids area in the lobby was well equipped with jumping horses, books, a slide etc to keep children up to 6 years busy while waiting.

::The onsen had a fantastic view with a huge window looking over the sea and pine trees. Food was good, but the reason to choose this hotel over others is the location and the whole setting of pine trees, beach and sea. Watching sunrise in this setting was unbelievable.

::Convenient location, 20 seconds walk to the beach and just over 10 mins from Sumoto Bus Centre (although hotel provides a free shuttle bus service). Can't vouch for English speaking skills but rooms were large, traditional (tatami and futons) and immaculately clean. Staff polite and helpful. Breakfast decent and authentic Onsen experience
