::We had a very pleasant stay here. The service was excellent. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask the name of the young woman who served us so graciously. She gave us a tour of the room, conversed with us, and served us dinner and breakfast in a professional manner. She has short hair and lives nearby. I hope to return soon and see her again. It was also my friend's birthday, and the staff even prepared a gift for him. Thank you so much!

::We had a great stay at this ryokan. The staff were very kind and nice. We had kaiseki (breakfast and dinner) included in our room which was amazing and left us satisfied witth the variety & quality of local dishes. Room was spacious with a bedroom and dining room, and came with a small private onsen which was very relaxing. You could also use one of their 4 public onsen within the hotel compound. Rooms come with full amenities. There is a small carpark next to the hotel and staff will help carry your bags in. A very pleasant stay and worth every penny!

::Santoukan is a wonderful ryokan. We have a room with private outdoor onsen. Breakfast and dinner are of fine dining style. The chef is from Kagoshima and has great experience and creativity. Rina is looking after our meals and necessities. She is humble, polite, and sincere.

::Beautiful Japanese Ryokan. We stayed in a traditional tatami room with private bath. The room was large and the bath was great. The dinner and breakfast were amazing and the staff were so attentive. Just mintues walk from Kinrin lake so we can enjoy the tranquility before the masses arrive later in the day. Highly recommend staying here when in Yufuin.

::Had a wonderful stay at Santoukan. Well maintained traditional ryokan. 4 public onsens with outdoor areas. Spectacular dinner and breakfast with impeccable service, more than helpful private car park free of charge. Next to Kinrin lake. 1 min walk to the Main Street with lots of food and souvenir shops.
